$25.00
The name and history of this variety plumeria has been confused by many people and sometimes it becomes a big argument within the group/chatroom. Let’s us explain why it’s named john john. One of our friend introduced us to visit a family in Weikiki, Hawaii over 25 years ago. He said this family has a large plumeria in the ground and it’s blooming in orange. Once, we got there, it was exactly like what he said. The owner of this plumeria name John and his dad also named John which passed away long time ago. We asked for his cuttings and gave his money as an appreciation and we asked if he know the name of this plumeria. He said, it had no name. We asked him if that’s okay for us to named this plumeria john john to honored him and his dad and he gladly accepted the name that we are given. It is probably the first original plumeria that had intense orange color. It has a bright orange color and pink band on the back of the petals (just like a picture). Medium texture and bloom approximately 3 inches in diameter. It is a upright growing habit. Nice bundles with sweet and spicy scents. Color of the flowers becomes apricot color in a colder climate and becomes intense orange in a warmer temperature.
